c)Â The Privacy Act and corresponding Australian Privacy Principle 8.1 requires us to ensure that, before disclosing Personal Information overseas, reasonable steps are taken to ensure that overseas recipients do not breach the Act or the applicable Australian Privacy Principles. It is not always possible for us to ensure that multinational companies, such as Google and Shopify, will not breach the Privacy Act or the applicable Australian Privacy Principles.
