The athletes of Team Jayco AlUla enjoy a well-deserved rest day as we enter the first break after an exciting block of racing!
Stage 8 saw some more fireworks with a huge effort by Dylan Groenewegen to get himself in the fight and grab a hard-earned 4th. A bit further back, Simon Yates got caught up in a pileup which caused him to hit the deck hard, but Yates remounted to finish the stage bruised and battered.
Still sore, Yates bounced back on Stage 9 to another solid finish, and that effort keeps him in the top 10 in the overall GC as we look forward to Stage 10!
