City of Melbourne partner with Giant Melbourne for Ride2Work
Giant Melbourne was excited to partner with City of Melbourne for Ride2Work day and support the Biketober Challenge during October 2022.
With the Covid pandemic behind us, the Biketober Challenge was all about encouraging bike riding and what better than experiencing everything that Melbourne has to offer than on an e-bike from Giant Melbourne.
The benefits of using a bike around Melbourne were highlighted by people like Naomi Kebble, who being a student at University of Melbourne; found using a bike to get to uni or even if its just going to your local cafe to get your self a late and catch up with friends can be so easy and convenient without the hassle of waiting for public transport or finding a decent parking space around the city of Melbourne.
The Giant Melbourne team were on the road and across different corporate workplaces across the City of Melbourne servicing bikes of all makes and models, plus for an entire week in October, Giant Melbourne was giving away e-bikes in the Spin & Win Bike Wheel competition on Nova 100.
Ten lucky Nova 100 Breakfast show listeners with Chrissie, Sam and Browny, had the chance to win an e-bike valued at $3000 plus $200 cash to spend Only in the City, live on air. And the best part, there were no losers from this awesome competition, even the listener who missed out won a Giant Commuter Bike!
It's fair to say it’s been a busy couple of months for the Giant Melbourne workshop mechanics who have been meticulously building each brand new e-bike and commuter bike from scratch. We’re thrilled that these special prizes are ready to be delivered to their lucky owners, just in time for Christmas. What a perfect way to enjoy summer with friends and experience all the events, attractions, culture and sport Only in the City of Melbourne.
Make sure you get your Giant, Liv & Momentum bikes at Giant Ride this shopping season or pick one up at Giant Melbourne in Bourke St, Giant Lygon or Giant Essendon.
