Can I get a bike delivered?

Yes you can! We deliver our bikes fully assembled to your door.

Bicycle delivery rate (Victoria):

  • Under 15km radius from Melbourne CBD = $20
  • Under 50km radius from Melbourne CBD = $50
  • Over 50km radius from Melbourne CBD = please contact us for a specific delivery location quote

Do you ship outside of Melbourne?

Yes we do. If you live further than 100km from Melbourne CBD please contact one of our stores for additional delivery options. 

What's click and collect?

It’s as easy as shopping online and picking up your purchase in store when it is ready for you. Find your closest click and collect location here.

When will I get my bike?

Our delivery time frame is approximately 7-10 days. This is subject to change during busier months of the year. 

Do you ship internationally?

Unfortunately, we do not ship internationally.

How can I track the status of my order?

You will receive an order confirmation email when you make a purchase. For bike purchases, this will be followed by a call from one of our sales representatives. For any other questions, please contact one of our stores.

What kind of Warranty comes with my new bike?

How do I make a Warranty Claim?

Please take your bike back to where you purchased it, if this is not possible, to your closest licensed Giant retailer.

What is your return policy?

Do you take trade-ins?

We do not take trade-ins.

Do you have a size guide?

We do! All bikes displayed on our website will have a size guide below them. If after referring to the size guide you are still unsure, please contact us via enquiries@giantmelbourne.com.au and one of our experienced customer service members will be in contact to find the right bike size.

How do I know whether this bike has enough growing room?

If you are unsure about kids sizing, growing etc. please contact Giant Lygon St and a team member will help you choose correctly.

How does Giant measure the size of its bike frames?

Rather than providing sizes in Centimeters or Inches, Giant follows a simple XS to XL sizing scheme. Giant manual contains height recommendations for each size on the individual product pages. For specific measurements (such as seat tube length) please refer to the “Geometry” section of the product page.

How does Giant measure the weight of its bikes and frames?

As weight varies significantly between sizes and depending on accessories fitted, Giant does not provide a single weight figure for different models. Please contact Giant Lygon St if you would like to discuss the weight of a specific model.

Can I put a bike on hold whilst I make a decision?

Currently our website does not offer this service, but bikes can be secured by placing a 20% deposit at our Giant Lygon St store in person or by calling and making partial payment over the phone or via direct transfer. Please note that we reserve the right to charge a layby cancellation fee for special order bikes that are not cancelled prior to the bike having been secured and ordered from Giant Australia.

Can I order a bike if it is not instock?

Our website offers the service for you to enquire about a bike that may not be in stock and one of our customer service team members will be in contact to advise you of an estimated ETA or an alternative solution that meets your cycling needs and budget. Our friendly staff are experienced in-store staff are also here to support you and can search databases to notify you of next available shipment and or secure your dream bike by taking a deposit. Please note that we reserve the right to change a cancellation fee for special order bikes that are not cancelled prior to the bike having been secured and ordered from Giant Australia.

How can I test ride a Giant bicycle?

Our stores are equipped with helmets especially for test rides and our staff are experienced in helping to ensure that the frame is the right size for you. All bikes can be taken for test rides during the sale process, we just ask that you leave two points of identification at the time of taking the bike and that the bike is returned with no damage to the frame or scratches.

Can I customise my bike when I order?

At Giant Lygon we are as passionate about your new bike as you are and want to ensure that you are happy with not only the fit, but the look of your new pride and joy. Our staff will be able to assist you with offering options to personalise your new ride, fit the required accessories needed to cover you on your next trip and suggest some great clothing options to keep you both safe and comfortable.

Giant bikes are sold as-is. However, we sell and can fit any additional parts and accessories you may need.

Where can I pick up my Giant bicycle?

All bikes can be collected from our Giant Lygon St store located in East Brunswick. Alternatively, we offer a local delivery service which is FREE for 10km from metro Melbourne taking out the difficulty of having to organise transport to collect your new ride. How do I cancel an order?

Please contact one of our stores to cancel your order. Please note that for special orders, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee. Alternatively, you can change or notify us of your desire to cancel your orders by contacting us at enquiries@giantmelbourne.com.au

I'm looking for a product that's not online. What do I do?

As a business we do our best to offer a comprehensive range of cycling parts, accessories, apparel and of course bikes. We understand that we cannot cover every product on the market and carefully select what we consider to be best in category. In the instance we do not offer the product that you are chasing, please contact our Giant Lygon St store directly or email us at enquires@giantmelbourne.com.au

Can I exchange an item for a different one?

We understand that mistakes can be made at the time of processing an order and therefore offer the option of exchange or refund. For further information please refer to our Returns Policy Page or contact our team at Giant Lygon St. Please see our Returns Policy page. Please note that we reserve the right to change a cancellation fee for special order bikes that are not cancelled prior to the bike having been secured and ordered from our selected suppliers.

Do you offer layby?

Yes, we offer our customers the ability to reserve and secure products via laybys. Alternatively, we offer a range of Finance options from trusted partners such as Afterpay, Zip Pay, Zip Money, providing increased flexibility for your payment plans. Please note that we reserve the right to charge a layby cancellation fee for all special orders that are cancelled at a date later than when the order has been placed with the supplier. Do you price match?

We always do our best to ensure our prices are competitive. If you find a product at a better price we will match and discount by a further 5% for any Giant part and accessory* and our teams will do their best to match bike prices for any current year's model. For price matching enquiries please contact our team at Giant Lygon St directly or alternatively contact us at enquires@giantmelbourne.com.au and one of our customer service team members will be in contact to discuss options and price points further.

What online payment methods do you offer?

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Afterpay, Zip Pay and ZIP Money.

How often should I get my bike serviced?

Ensuring that your bike is in good working condition and safe for riding on busy roads should always be a priority. The frequency of how often you have your bike serviced depends on how frequently you are riding your bike, duration of rides, terrain that you are riding on, weather conditions and of course when you last had your bike serviced. Our Giant Lygon St store is equipped with a fully functional workshop and experienced mechanics to take care of all your servicing needs. Whether it be a quick tune up, replacement of a broken part, full strip and rebuild or just the convenience of having your tube changed, our workshop has you covered. You can now book your next service online by referring to our Workshop Servicing Page and selecting your preferred choice!

We recommend once or twice a year, depending on how often you ride your bike, what conditions you ride in, etc.

I want to learn how to maintain my bikes.

We understand that not everyone finds it easy to maintain their bike or are eager to learn the basics to ensure that they can take care of the basics when either at home or out on the roads. Our mechanics are always willing to help and if you would like to book some time with one of our mechanics to have someone on one instruction, please ask one of our staff how you can book a mechanic during the time of your next visit.

How do I book my bike for a service?

Booking a bike service is now easier than ever. A comprehensive summary of what is included in each of our main service packages can be viewed by referring to our Service page which provides the option of booking your bike in for its next service at our Giant Lygon St store. Alternatively, you can call and speak to our in-store mechanics that will be only too happy to assist in choosing the right service solution for you and securing a time that is convenient for your busy schedule.

How long will it take to get my bike serviced?

We are confident with the skills and professionalism of our in-store mechanics and it is for this reason that providing bikes are dropped off in advance of scheduled booking time and that no parts are required to be ordered in and or no additional work is needing to be completed other than what was booked, our team will have your bike ready for collection by COB on the day of booking.

How much does it cost to get my bike serviced?

Depending on the type of service and or the condition of your bike, a race prep will start at $79.99 and our most popular essential commuter service package will be a little higher at $109.99. Do you accept non-Giant bikes for servicing?

Yes, we love all bikes and do not discriminate. If you love your bike we would love to see you in our store! Please contact your closest store to make a booking or book online by visiting our services page here https://giantride.com.au/pages/service

How do I store my Giant bicycle?

Your bicycle will last the longest when stored in a cool, dry place. If your bike has been sitting unused for several months, please book in a service and we will carry out a safety inspection.

How do I get replacement parts for my Giant bicycle?

Please contact Giant Lygon St if you require any replacement parts.

Can my frame be repaired?

There are several quality frame repairers in Australia. However, we are unable to guarantee any work carried out by these providers.

Do you offer custom frame painting?

We do not offer custom frame painting.

Do you offer touch-up paint?

We do not offer touch-up paint.

What are the types of tyres and which one works best for me?

Tires can vary in rubber thickness, tread pattern, wheel diameter, tire width, color, and material. For a crash-course in tire technology, please contact our friendly sales team.

Do you have a shop ride?

Is there a local riding group that I can join?

There are multiple local riding groups around. Speak to a team member in store about how and where to join.

Where can I ride near me?

Anywhere! If you are looking for new routes, speak to a team member in store. They will have some knowledge of local rides/routes.

Can I have my 2-year free service warranty at any Giant bicycle store? 

We only offer the free 2-year tune up service at Giant Lygon St, Giant Essendon and Giant Melbourne.

Can I have my 2-year free service warranty without a proof of purchase?

Unfortunately, no. We require your proof of purchase across any of our stores Giant Lygon St., Giant Essendon and Giant Melbourne. If missing or lost, we can provide assistance to locate your invoice in our system.

Will you include new parts and accessories in my 2-year free service warranty? 

Our free 2-year tune up service does not include parts and accessories. If your bike requires any additional parts, our team will contact you and provide you with a quote on parts and labour.
